A new era is coming, and Warsaw is edgy with the change. Art school classmates Christopher and Michal feel their own growing pains along with those of the city. They restlessly roam its streets, dedicated to tasting the joy of the moment and making it last. Never content with other people's answers, they push each experience to its limits, testing what it might mean to be truly awake in a world that seems satisfied to be asleep. Michal Marczak's film, which won him the best director prize at Sundance, is delightfully free in form: it provides a snapshot of today's Polish twentysomethings, and makes us feel part of those years between adolescence and imminent adulthood. Following the steps of F*ck For Forest (!f 2013), Marczak weaves his camera in and out of drunken late-night parties, early-morning raves and all-day philosophical bull sessions. Born in 1982 in Warsaw, director and cinematographer Michal Marczak studied at the California Institute of Art. At The Edge of Russia (2010) won the Best Documentary Award at Toronto HotDocs and Fuck for Forest ( 2012, !f 2013) won the Best Documentary Award at Warsaw International Film Festival.
