Annica is a loose adaptation of Ahmed Hilmi's novel 'Amak-ı Hayal' in the form of a virtual reality experience. The title refers to the doctrine of 'impermanence' in Buddhism. When the audience goes into the tent and puts on headsets, they meet with the half-wise, half-mad Aynalı Baba. Under his guidance, they then embark on a journey that interrogates existence, mortality and reality.

Ergin Şanal is a visual effects artist who served as a lead compositor for years. He worked on various commercial projects as compositor and on-set VFX supervisor. He manipulates pixels to tell stories and visualize abstract concepts.
