Jon Nguyen was born in 1970. He got his psychology degree at the University of Colorado. He then moved to Los Angeles and started working as David Lynch's assistant in 1997. He has been using many pseudonyms over the years, and believes that a certain name fits a certain type of project. He did Lynch: Behind the Curtain (2007, !f 2009) using the pseudonym BlackANDwhite.
