In 2005, 23 years after the death of famous science-fiction author Philip K. Dick, robotics engineer David Hanson unveiled an android modeled on the author and named Phil. In I, Philip, the viewer looks at the world through the eyes of this robot. The piece imagines a posthuman future, telling the story of the robot's dreams and memories in the spirit of the author.
