"A mysterious minimalist romance." The Hollywood Reporter

SUMMARY

On a glorious summer's day, a love story begins.

On a glorious summer day, two teenagers meet in a park for their first date. Timid at first, their relationship picks up as they gradually get to know each other. When they part ways, a dark night begins and things start to slide into a slightly surreal realm. Working with non-professional actors, Damien Manivel devises a charming portrait of relationships in the millennial age – it feels both very contemporary and timelessly delightful, somewhere between Linklater's Before Trilogy and Jacques Rivette's Celine and Julie Go Boating. Finally, Le Parc captures something utterly unique, where human vulnerability oscillates between darkness, love and dreams.
