The only thing food wants, is to go home with us. Or is it?
Sausages, lettuces, toothbrushes: what do they do, how do they live, after the supermarket closes? We hardly ever wonder -- but the subject might occupy your dreams after watching Sausage Party. A sausage & a bun have one goal: to be 'chosen' by the same god (shopper) to go to the 'great beyond' together. Their romantic story is interrupted when they learn what will happen to them after the first time they make love. Will they be able to convince the rest of the food in the supermarket that people they see as gods -in fact- eat them soon after rescuing them? Is revolution possible? One of the most creative and disturbing animation films so far, Sausage Party's characters are voiced by Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, James Franco & Salma Hayek among others.

Conrad Vernon studied at California Institute of the Arts. He is a director, storyboard artist, writer, and voice actor, best known for his work on the DreamWorks animated film series Shrek as well as other films such as Monsters vs. Aliens (2009), Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012), and Penguins of Madagascar (2014). Animator, director and voice actor Greg Tiernan was born in Dublin, Ireland. He was trained in traditional animation for feature films, and has worked on Disney movies. Sausage Party (2016) is Tiernan's first feature film.
