"I feel like an assassin. I get someone in my sights and then I wait for the moment to shoot them. But I don't want their soul, I just want their aura." Mick Rock (From the film)

Shot! The Psycho-Spiritual Mantra Of Rock

SUMMARY

A visually and sonically rich documentary of rock's spirit at its best!

This kaleidoscopic documentary opens with a reenactment of Mick Rock being carted into an ambulance with an oxygen mask on in 1996, after three successive heart attacks brought on by extreme drug use. Shot! is a flashback into his life, a reckless joyride into the mind of rock's greatest living photographer, who's also a psychedelic explorer and poet. "I work from the inside out," he says, and in Shot! we can see he means it. Those iconic images entrenched in our collective psyche of David Bowie, Syd Barrett, Blondie, Queen, Lou Reed and Iggy Pop are moments of insight from one of their closest friends. Shot! includes intimate home movies of long, tripped-out nights, full of humor and an incendiary energy for life. This is your chance to vicariously experience the hedonistic lifestyles of your icons, and the music born out of them.
