"It's about stories and the stories we all have to tell to get by." Will Sharpe (Director)

SUMMARY

A wholly original story of love and loss, of alienation and aliens, featuring some of Britain's most exciting new comic actors.

!f audiences will remember directors Will Sharpe and Tom Kingsley for their wonderfully odd debut Black Pond (2011, !f 2013). The pair return with an epic story of love and loss that is eccentric and deeply heartfelt, with a touch of sci-fi, parallel universes, and the dark alleyways of British canals too. Zac is a nervy city trader. He has lost everything; most devastatingly, his wayward sister Alice, the only family he had left. Alice disappeared on a narrowboat trip along with her boyfriend Toby, also a misfit. Zac becomes frustrated with the police's attempts to find them and decides to take matters into his own inexpert hands. Struggling, he reflects on his difficult relationship with Alice. As he remembers her sweet new relationship with the mysterious Toby, he begins to wonder if there may in fact be a grander, wilder, much stranger explanation for their disappearance.
