"Are you out of your fucking mind? Of course I'm not gay, I am a footballer!" ( From the film)

SUMMARY

Sometimes winning means losing yourself.

Jason and Ade have been playing football at a famous academy in London since their early childhoods. They go to Romania for an important game which will determine their careers in the Premier League. Out of excitement, they can't sleep the night before the game. They chat, discuss tactics, mock each other, wrestle… And then something unexpected happens: they kiss. They have no idea how this kiss would affect the next decade of their lives. Adapted from a play premiered at the Royal Court, The Pass depicts the homophobic reality of the football world through a decade of Jason's closeted life. Featuring a career-best performance from Russel Tovey (Looking, HBO), according to critics, The Pass is among the most extraordinary films ever made about football.
