We ask questions and seek answers about director and producer relationships with Çağla Zencirci and Guillaume Giovanetti through their latest film “Sibel”.
How it would be possible to shoot films in countries such as Pakistan, Japan and Turkey which have totally different cultures than each other? Why do filmmakers choose to produce their films in such countries that are very different from each other? How to find a producer in a country that you cannot even speak its language and create a financial source there? How is it possible to convince a producer to make a film full of characters talking a language unknown to that producer?
Workshops will differ as English and Turkish. There will not be a simultaneous translation.
