Kathi Bildhauer is the program manager and one of the coordinators of the Berlinale Co-Production Market as well as project coordinator of the ”Talent Project Market”. She was born in 1977 in Aachen, Germany and studied German and English Literature and Psychology at the University of Cologne, followed by European Film Studies at the University College London. After completing her MA she did a PhD, publishing her dissertation about screenplay dramaturgy besides mainstream with the title “Screenplay Reloaded: Storytelling in the Cinema of the 21st Century”.

Kathi Bildhauer has been working for the Berlin International Film Festival since 2003. She is one of the founding members of the Berlinale Co-Production Market and has been co-head of the department together with Martina Bleis since 2016. She is also a long-term member of the Berlinale Talents team where she has been responsible for the ”Talent Project Market” since 2004. In the years 2008-2011 she assisted the projects supported by the World Cinema Fund. During 2012-2016 she was project coordinator of the Berlinale Residency.

Born in Istanbul in 1962, after receiving his degree in business administration, he worked in the textile sector for nearly 30 years and continues to do so as a consultant.

In 2011 he supported the film ‘’Zenne’’ by Cam Film and directed by Caner Alper and Mehmet Binay which won the Antalya Golden Orange. Zenne also won 33 other prizes around the world.

Later on he took place as executive producer in the film ‘’Drawers’’ by the same directors and conducted its festival operations.

In 2018 he took place as executive producer in the film ‘’The Announcement’’ (Anons) directed by Mahmut Fazil Coskun.

He is the founder of the online short film platform “ShortbyShort”.

In 2019 he started Producers & Directors Meetings with Yapimcilik Akademisi to support short movie productions by creating a collective approach. They currently have 5 short films completed/waiting to be completed.

He held the Film Yap workshop at Okan University

He is the producer of two projects supported by the General Directorate of Cinema in ‘Directors With Their First Film’ 2019.

Daniela studied Film Theory and Critique at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (1997-2006), where she also received her PhD in 2008. Later on, she worked as managing director at the Slovakian film distribution company Filmtopia and as director of the biannual Film Festival 4 Elements in Slovakia. She has been working at Pluto Film since December 2015.
